ABOUT MONZA

THE ENGINE IN THE MONZA SP2

The engine in the Monza SP2 is derived directly from that of the 812 Superfast, with optimised fluid-dynamics in the intake ducts to deliver even higher performance. Ferrari Monza cost more than 1.6 million euros, a total of only 499 copies. The Monza SP1 and Monza SP2 models are the first representatives of a completely new genre of Ferrari collector cars that the Italians referred to as the “Icona”. The name explains it all: the unique vehicles of this family, based on the latest technologies, are to be inspired by the Ferrari icons that built the brand’s image in the 1950s. Priority in this arrangement is given to classic racing cars that have won events such as Le Mans 24 Hours, Mille Miglia, Targa Florio and Formula 1, machines that Enzo Ferrari appreciated the most
